Tel: 01530 230807

A week of top of the water sport, with buzzers & dries working best with some anglers enjoying exciting sport fishing a muddler pulled through the wave. With our water temperature at 15 degrees we had the first of the damsel flies emerging not surprising therefore damsel nymph patterns also featured in the returns.

T Pegg fished along the stones with a black diawl bach catching 15 trout for his visit, Danny Lovegrove caught 9 on buzzers fished in the top 1ft, Len Hill fished a muddler reporting lots of follows with the 3 fish he caught weighing 7lb, Norma Prime & John Everitt shared a boat catching 13 trout on buzzer`s, Mark Hunt fished crunchers & suspender buzzers to record 17 trout for his visit.

Best patterns, green or black buzzers, suspender buzzer. Dries – hopper, owl, big red. Nymph – damsel, cruncher. Lures – Muddler

Water clarity is excellent. Rod average 3.0
