Fishery Report: Week Ending: 15th November 2020

Monday and Tuesday with the calmer better weather fished best with the water temperature surprisingly at 10c for most of the week which is higher than expected for the time of year, water clarity is excellent, gin clear is a fair description.

Monday Pete Hunt caught 5 on a booby with Nev Welsh also catching 5 trout with the majority of the fish taking booby and minkie patterns although Alan smith fished a traditional mallard and claret which worked for him.

Tuesday, All Water member Ian Jobe took to his float tube and caught 9 trout, Barry Deeley also caught 9 alternating between an intermediate & fast sinking line, P Cox recorded 7 with P Moore catching 6 back drifting with a minkie booby

Weather change for Wednesday with a drop off in catches, J Scott was top boat with 5 fishing close to the margins off the wood. Similar for Thursday although Barry Deeley proved they were catchable taking a further 7 trout on similar methods he used the day before.

Friday proved a windier day with most opting to fish the morning session, top boat was Chris Sayer and Mick Cross who caught 5

Saturday and Sunday saw the worst of the weather, at times huge gusts of wind which appeared from nowhere. Top rods were Jan Webber, Matt Vickers and Simon Z who all caught 3 fish apiece

Orange seems to have been the most successful colour, orange snakes, booby and minkie patterns with the wood, stones, green bay and car park been the most popular areas
