Thornton Reservoir opens on 1st February 2018
Main gate, lodge & bank fishing opens 7.30am.
Boats available from 8.30am, to book a boat call the lodge on 01530 230807.
The bank usually fishes well at Thornton during the opening weeks with the bank opposite the lodge & down in front of the wood favourite areas.
Although the trout are likely to be close in along the margins we recommend waders (at the very least wellingtons).
