Thornton weekly report week ending 7th February 2016

Posted by & filed under Reports.

A record opening for Thornton with the rod average for the first week 14.3
Unfortunately the heavy rain on Saturday night caused the two streams that feed Thornton to flood which in turn coloured the water.

With continued rain today (Monday 8th) it likely to be the end of the week before conditions improve

For the opening week floating lines with green pea, cats whisker & apps bloodworm fished along the shallows of the Thornton arm. Excellent average fish size of 2lb
