86 rods recorded 103 trout for the week for a rod average 1.2
A bit of an improvement for us with the bit of rain last week at last helping to freshen the water, although our water clarity is gin clear. A good numbers of browns have been reported this week with the brown showing along the stones and into green bay
The trout have started to move into the arms with the weed beds opposite the lodge & down along the farm bank starting to fish.
Most years the middle of the Thornton arm opposite the lodge produces well during mid October
Fry patterns, boobies, hares ear & diawl bach are the patterns taking fish last week with anglers reporting trout following floating fry patterns & boobies pulled through the surface but turning away at the last moment.

Last 4 hours pm 2.15– 6.15pm
