Weekly Report ending 11th May

113 rods recorded 431 trout for the week for a rod average 3.7

Buzzer & damsel patterns caught the majority of the trout this past week with some starting to take emerger patterns and dries

Still a good concentration of trout on the shallows and down past the lonesome pine where they have been for the past month or so, but this week we saw an increasing number of trout taken by boat anglers from the green bay and stone bank are

Mark Hunt fished green bay to catch 10 fish including a brown of 3lb12oz on a quill buzzer, T Pegg recorded rainbows 4lb2oz, 4lb & 3lb7oz John Dagnall, Darren Lee, Dave Currie, fished the float tube match and all recorded trout over 3lb, float tuber Brian Heald catching a 4lb rainbow.

The first of the Hawthorn is about with the warmer forecast for this week we should see an increasing number of these been blown onto the water and bringing the trout to the surface.

If your coming to fish the bank we recommend you bring waders.
